Upcycling, a committed choice
Upcycling is a method of reducing waste and maximizing the use of existing resources. This approach has a real positive impact on the environment since by offering a second life to an already existing object, we save the energy and raw materials necessary for the manufacture of new products and we limit the production of waste. By turning to upcycled jewelry, you contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle. sustainable and more responsible.
Local manufacturing:
My workshop is located in Quebec in Joliette. Jovettine jewelry is imagined, created, cleaned, handcrafted with love and delicacy. Thank you for supporting small, independent artists by purchasing authentic, handmade jewelry. Thank you for shopping with us and encouraging buying local. I am now on lespagesvertes.ca
I promote recycling and I work mainly with recycled materials made from glasses. My glasses come from optometry end-of-series, flea markets, yard sales, donations from people and unsold items from small and large stores. In addition, I use fine faceted stones, which I carefully select from my Quebec suppliers. See more
Environmentally friendly jewelry:
Reduction in packaging waste:Fine stones are not made from organic materials, such as pearls, mother-of-pearl, shell, coral and amber. I use stainless steel for chains and findings.
Good habits:With the minimalist 100% recyclable cardboard packaging, this is an ecological choice. Additionally, for larger packages, I use shredded fiber. As for the jewelry packaging, I opted for a small reusable natural cotton bag accompanied by a small wipe for caring for your jewelry. My business cards are made from 90% recycled Kraft paper.
Support for environmental causes:For a more responsible daily life, in my personal life, I try to reduce my carbon footprint as much as possible. This goes without saying for the daily life of my business. Simple habits that I will pass on to you on social networks.
Reasonable delivery:Thanks to your purchases, in addition to the eco-responsible dimension of your jewelry, you allow me to act even more concretely in the various fights led by nature protection associations. In addition, for each piece of jewelry sold, 2 dollars will be donated to the INCA foundation.
Dream of a better world:It is possible to pick up your purchases directly from the workshop in Joliette. This is great for you and the planet. In addition, you can come and get to know me and discover my products and my workshop.
